LED Pictorial Trough Light kit

LED Troughlights are an ideal solution for illuminating your projecting Pictorial Signs.

• Very economical to run - up to 80% cheaper than traditional lamps.

The kit comprises:-     Two LED Troughs, pre-wired with a 3 metre mains lead, and two mounting arms to attach to your projecting bracket. We carry two sizes in stock for immediate delivery, - and made to measure only take a couple of days. 

TIP  Make sure you choose the correct Mounting Arms to fit your bracket. If we don't have one to match your Sign Bracket, we'll make you one, just send us a sketch.

Brightness     Two levels of brightness are available, 1400 lumens per metre (High Bright) and 2800 lumens (Super Bright)

 HINT    We suggest that High Bright is fine on most typical Pictorial Bracket Signs because the Super Bright can be a bit overwhelming. The exceptions are where you have a very large sign to illuminate, and/or where it's to be seen from a great distance.

Body Colour     The Troughlights & brackets are available in either Black or White from stock, but we can Powder Coat or Spray them in virtually colour you need.

We need the RAL code for your desired colour. (Please Note that we can't guarantee to get Pantone codes absolutley correct as they are for printing - not painting) The standard 4 digit RAL colour codes are an additional £40 (6 digit codes may be dearer and subject to delays)  

LED Light Colour    Three colours of white light are available, generally described as:-

• Cool White (6000 kelvin)
• Neutral White, sometimes described as Daylight (4000 kelvin)
• Warm White (3000 kelvin) 

HINT     The choice of colour is very much a personal choice, but as the Cool White is brighter & sharper we suggest they be used on industrial & commercial signs, - whilst the more yellow Warm White lights are better suited to hospitality applications.

Photocell Switch     A simple switch that is activated by the ambient light i.e. when it goes dark in the evening the Trough Lights will turn on, and they will turn off automatically at dawn.

We offer one that is built into one of the Troughs, and one that is seperate & fixes to the wall.

The Built In version only controls the Pictorial Trough Light, wheras the wall mounted Photocell switch can be used to control a number of different lights at the same time.

TIP     Before ordering, check that you will not be mounting the Photocell Switch directly below a Street Light or a brightly lit 1st floor window, as they can trigger the sign lights unexpectedly.
