Single Sided Illuminated Sign Box Custom Size
All our Single Sided Sign Boxes are made to measure.
They are manufactured from alluminium with an opal white acrylic front panel and come complete with waterproof LED modules & driver and 3 metres of mains cable. All you have to do is drill a hole in the back or side and fix the cable gland (supplied) and screw the Sign Box to the wall.
Pricing just enter the overall width and height you require. Please note, that the width is the horizontal as you face the sign.
Colours Most Sign Boxes are Silver Anodised for maximum weather protection, but we also stock Black & White powder coated extrusions, or we can have them painted to your exact colour.
Sizes Up to 3 metres long and 800mm high we generally supply SlimCase which is a 90mm deep extrusion with 25mm frameing bead, and 3mm thick acrylic panels.
For boxes higher than 800mm we use a heavier extrusion, LargeCase, which is 160mm deep with a 35mm framing bead, and 5mm thick acrylic panels. In both cases, boxes over 4.5 metres in length will come in sections for you to assemble on site.
Acrylic panels up to 3 metres long will be supplied in one piece, but anything longer will be in sections. They will have a hanger strip along the top and joints will be half lapped. We reserve the right to put the joint at the most economical position, but if this is a problem and you need the joint in a specific position, please email us on sales@lightsforsigns.co.uk because there may be a surcharge.

We pride ourselves in offering a high quality and fast turnaround service but we can only do this if you provide artwork files in accordance with the guidelines below. Failure to follow these guidelines will almost certainly delay your order and/or incur extra costs.

The prices shown are for your artwork to be supplied in a "ready to print" format.
We accept artwork files from various Windows programmes as detailed below. However, for each file/program type please note the format requirements:-
- Adobe Photoshop - minimum 300dpi at full size, CMYK colour profile, flattened, no layers, saved as a .TIF, .EPS or .JPG.
- Adobe Illustrator - include all images used (minimum 300dpi at full size), convert fonts to outlines to avoid font conflict, save as .AI or .EPS.
- Corel Draw - include all images used (minimum 300dpi at full size), text should be converted to curves, files should be saved as .EPS.
- .pdf - press or print optimised, CMYK colour format, embed all fonts to avoid font conflict
- .jpeg - these should be high resolution images, minimum 300dpi at full size.
- .tiff - minimum 300dpi at full size, LZW compression should be turned off.
- .bmp - minimum 300dpi at full size.
Artwork that is not supplied in the correct format will incur an extra design charge at a minimum of £15 (you will be notified by telephone or email prior to any work being carried out).
Please note: that Microsoft Publisher, Word and PowerPoint are not graphics or publishing packages, and you would not thank us for trying to convert them due to the cost and variable results.
Shipping costs
- Delivery charges vary based on the product, size and delivery address.
- For an accurate delivery charge, please enter the delivery postcode in the cart or at the checkout.
Shipping processing time
- All orders for stock items are generally processed within 1-2 days working days.
- Orders for special colours or more bespoke items will take longer. We usually have these processed within 10 days working days, but it may take longer depending on the specifications.
- If you have a particular delivery deadline, please call the office on 0800 0418593 to discuss your needs.
- If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional time for your delivery. If there will be a significant delay in any shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
- As soon as your order is packed & ready for the courier, we will email your invoice with the Carrier & Tracking Information.
Deliveries
- All deliveries must be examined - before being signed for.
- Any damage or shortage must be noted with your signature and to us within 24 hours, otherwise the carriers will deny responsibility, and we will be unable to make a claim on your behalf.
